“ Howard - There’s another element that allows early stage VCs to share their research and information: relationships. We can’t freely trade these securities and (unlike Einhorn) we can’t really “move” our markets withe the dissemination of information. But we can establish high-quality relationships with the best founders who are sophisticated in the fields that we are interested in. Because our business is so focused on the customer (the entrepreneur) and our relationship with them, the sharing of intellectual content in a flat and open environment is a way to attract more high-quality, highly qualified customers.
